ImageBoot Readme

This document contains the important information when using
ImageBoot. It is highly recommended that you read this document
carefully before installing ImageBoot.

Before using ImageBoot, ensure that hypervisor system
requirements for Windows are met.
Hypervisor
- VMware Workstation 10, 11
- VMware Player 6, 7
- Microsoft Hyper-V (Windows Server
2008 R2 requires Microsoft .NET Framework 4 or later is
installed.)
Operating System (Host)
Windows 7 (32 bit, 64bit), 2008 R2 or later.
Operating System (Guest)
Windows XP (32 bit, 64bit), 2003 (32 bit, 64bit) or later
*Dependent on Hypervisor's limitation.

- Currently does not support Oracle Virtual Box.
- Cannot boot from multiple image files as one
VM (excluding an image file that
was created with [a separate image file for each disk] option).
- When selecting an image file that was created with [a separate image file for
each disk] option, ImageBoot can include only disks that exist
in image which is corresponding file type and file number to
VM.
Please note this behavior, when images had been consolidated
or created differential image file with write mount.
- Cannot use an image file that includes the disk
which conflicts with the host disk's signature.
This also includes the disk that is already using the created
VM.
- Even if selected
[Add] by Hyper-V, the virtual switch is not specified
automatically. Please specify a suitable virtual switch after
VM creation.
- In an environment which is not connected to
network, the auto update dialog is displayed. Please click
"Cancel" to close this dialog.
- In the event that the uninstallation does not
complete correctly due to a crash by Au_.exe, re-install and
then uninstall again.
