System Requirement

This document contains the system requirement regarding the use of this product. It is highly recommended that you read this document carefully before using this product.
Conditions for Use of Features
Pentium 4 or above
1024MB or more is required.
1500MB or more of available hard disk space is required.
Required for activation of the product and installation of the latest updates.
* Indispensable when using HyperAgent feature.
Parallel ATA, Serial ATA (including eSATA), SCSI, SAS, iSCSI, SAN (Fibre Channel), USB, FireWire (IEEE 1394), network shared folders compatible with file sharing SMB/CIFS protocol (shared folders of Windows OS and Samba), virtual hard disk created in storage space
* Storage media of which sector size is 512 byte or more is supported.
Windows 7 (x86/x64) or later version of Windows Desktop OS, Windows Server 2008 R2 or later version of Windows Server OS

* The above listed file systems on MBR and GPT disks are supported.
* The above listed file systems on storage spaces configured on Windows 8 or later OS are supported.
* ReZooming a virtual machine created in ReFS is not allowed.

* File system on Storage Space and ReFS are supported only if the boot environment is created by using Windows ADK that supports the file system.
* By using Windows ADK or Windows AIK, the boot environment may be created through Windows PE-based boot environment builder.
For more detailed information or the editions supporting the respective features, please refer to the Readme or the product's Help.
* The host using free license version of VMware vSphere Hypervisor (ESXi) is not supported.
* Backup of virtual hardware version 7 or later virtual machine is allowed.
* Use Port 902 to connect to vCenter Server for VMware vSphere or ESXi hypervisor. If you fail to establish the connection, please make sure the firewall setting is properly configured on the target host.
* Hyper-V 2012/2012 R2 checkpointing does not work with VSS Writer on the respective virtual machines. If you use domain controller, SQL Server, Exchange, Oracle or non-VSS-savvy database on the virtual machine, please install ActiveImage Protector and regularly take backups (Agent-based).
* Hyper-V on Windows 8/10 is not supported.
* Please make sure that the firewall setting is configured to allow [File and printer sharing]. If the firewall setting is configured for group policy, please select [Network] - [Network Connection] - [Windows Firewall] and enable [Allow inbound file and printer sharing exception].
Windows OS and Linux distributions
* After restoring Linux system on uEFI boot system, you need to create a boot entry by using CentOS LiveCD. For further details, please access here.
* Conversion from 32-bit OS to ESXi 6.5 or later host is not allowed.
* Use Port 902 to connect to vCenter Server for VMware vSphere or ESXi hypervisor. If you fail to establish the connection, please make sure the firewall setting is properly configured on the target host.
* Please make sure that Microsoft .NET Framework 4 or later is configured on the conversion source host.
* Conversion to the free license version of VMware vSphere Hypervisor (ESXi) is not allowed.
* Conversion to ESXi 6.5 or later host is allowed only from 64bit OS.
* Use Port 902 to connect to vCenter Server for VMware vSphere or ESXi hypervisor. If you fail to establish the connection, please make sure the firewall setting is properly configured on the target host.
* Please make sure that Microsoft .NET Framework 4 or later is configured on the conversion source host.

* If ActiveImge Protector runs on Windows 7 or Windows 2008 R2, BootCheck running on remote Hyper-V host only is supported.
* When using Hyper-V on a remote host, please configure the firewall setting to allow [File and printer sharing] and [Windows Management Interface (WMI)] on the remote host.
