- Released as an update patch for Hyper-V
Enterprise SP2. Before applying this patch, please be aware of
the following precautions.
- If this patch is applied with the console window
open, the console window will close automatically.
- When Update patch (1708) is applied, the console
version should be "4.7.6.3980-P3". The agent version remains
unchanged.
- The image version of the files created after
applying this patch are identified as "4.7.6.4235(208)".
- After this patch is applied, the ReZoom it!
console version remains unchanged.
Corrections
- While backing up CSVFS volumes with no
ownership, the backup task execution progress continued to
display 1%. This issue has been corrected.
- ReZoomable VMs were not listed properly. This
issue has been corrected.
- Some information was missing in the log due to
script problems in Rezoom it! This issue has been corrected.
- The
ReZoom
it! console abruptly crashed if Rezooming a virtual machine in
which the
machine name contained double byte character(s) OR if a
specified path in a
virtual machine’s configuration file contained double byte
character(s). This issue has been corrected.

- When this patch is applied, the console version
should be "4.7.6.3980-P3". The agent version remains unchanged.
- The image version of the files created after
applying this patch are identified as "4.7.6.4126(208)".
Corrections
- In the Event Log dialog and the log information
was sorted by Date/Time, the log information was not sorted
correctly. This issue has been corrected.
- In the Boot Environment Builder (Linux-based),
no appropriate ISO image writing device was indicated. This
issue has been corrected.
- If an attempt to activate the product on more
hosts than allowed by the license terms then deactivation
failed. This issue has been corrected.
- When editing the schedule that was created by
entering a one-letter password, the password became corrupted.
This issue has been corrected.

event-triggered at system shutdown was not executed with Home
edition or an equivalent edition.
- (7456) When the [Auto
run missed schedule task] option was enabled, a full baseline
backup task was skipped and the scheduled run was not
re-executed.
- (7815) With the
[Password Protection] option enabled for a backup image, but
only one letter was assigned for the password, access of the
image file was denied.
- (7831) When a backup
task was scheduled only with the [Shutdown/Restart] option
enabled, only base image files were created every time the event
triggered a backup task.
- Recovery
- When a multi-card
reader was connected to the system, the GUI froze.
- (7754) uEFI system
volume online-restored with the Windows module failed to boot
up.
- Others
- (6695) When
establishing a connection to a remote agent running a task, the
GUI would sometimes crash.
- During the upgrade
process, an AIVimg32.dll error might have occurred.
- (7754) When
establishing a connection to a shared folder selected from
History in Explorer, a message was displayed with a prompt to
re-enter credentials.
- (7863) When a P2V
conversion task failed, the task log recorded the task as
“Successful” in [Dashboard] - [Task Log].
- Selecting [Check
Update], an issue that the NetJapan Software Update
(AutoUpdate.exe) had crashed may have occurred.

option to display base image files.
- An Enhanced Explorer feature is provided.
- The Restore Image Wizard on a Windows system
supports restoring a BIOS / uEFI system volume alone to a disk
other than the system disk.
- The behavior of a scheduled backup defined with
a USB device as the storage destination has changed. The
following are the changes:
- If a USB device specified for the storage
destination is disconnected from the system at the scheduled
start time, the backup task terminates with error (-301). When
re-connection of the USB device is detected, you will be
prompted to either resume the skipped backup task (terminated
with -301 error) or not.
- The [Allow multiple USB device destinations in
one profile] option is provided to specify USB devices as the
storage destination, even when the original USB is replaced with
a different device If the drive is assigned the same drive
letter as specified for the storage destination in the schedule.
The behavior of the scheduled task is described as follows when
[Allow multiple USB device destination in one profile] option is
enabled/disabled in [Preference] - [General] setting.
- Enabled:The backup task is executed.
* If the folder you specified for the destination does not exist
on the USB device, the backup task terminates with error (-301).
- Disabled:The backup task terminates with error
(-301).

- Recovery
- In the event that both the BIOS system volume
and data volume are restored together, the restored system did
not boot up.
- Re-sizing the newly created partition was
allowed.
- (7759/6816)The configured settings were not
correctly displayed on the Summary window in the Restore Image
Wizard.
- (7779)Offline disks may have been displayed as
restore target disk selections.
- P2V conversion
- Connection to a Hyper-V on local host was not
allowed.
- If converted to a virtual machine on a Hyper-V
host, the virtual machine might not have been properly created
depending on the combination of the source disk (image)/host
machine to run the task/target destination host.

- When archiving backup image files, the path to
the target destination was displayed incorrectly by default.

- The statistics information in Task Summary

- Upon execution of a
scheduled task which a USB HDD is specified for destination
storage and the destination disk is not connected to the system,
the scheduled task is skipped. AIP Desktop Edition provides you
with the option that reconnection of the USB HDD, when detected,
should immediately resume execution of the scheduled backup
task.
- Specifications of a Scheduled Backup have
been changed, so that in the event that while Windows Update is in progress, a
scheduled backup task gets to the start time, the schedule is
automatically postponed to start one hour later. Upon completion of Windows update, if a
backup task is scheduled to start before the one-hour
postponed schedule, the postponed schedule will be cancelled.
- When restoring a selected volume
to
expanded size, you can specify the target volume size (only
NTFS volumes are supported).

volume in the original size, overwriting the target volume.)

- Fixed: (6711) When a backup image file is
created for a disk having a volume before extended partition,
the image file size may increase.

Shutdown/Restart] is disabled.

image file when backup task completes.] is enabled and the
Verify Image task ends with an error, the log information may be
incorrect.
