Installation of the required modules using the script provided in the product's media
Before setting up the product, please make sure that the required modules, i.e., libstdc++.i686, libuuid.i686 or glibc.i686 is installed.
The following are the detailed installation procedures:
If you have any inquiry about the installation procedures, please contact your system administrator.
#yum install libuuid.i686
Error: Protected multilib versions: libuuid-2.17.2-12.7.el6_3.i686 != libuuid-2.17.2-2.7.el6.x86_64
You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem
You could try running: rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest
If you get the error message as indicated above and the installation fails, you may need to have the consistent version with libuuid.x86_64 package.
Then, the use of the following command may solve the problem.
#yum install libuuid.x86_64
In the event that you encounter the same sort of error upon installation of the other packages, please install (update) x86_64 package , then install the package again.
#yum install libstdc++.i686
To install rpm package using Linux OS setup DVD:
