- Released as Version 4.5.2 Linux Edition.
- Improved to obtain distribution information in image file header.
- Changed the process of creating differential image file (*.aix).
- Differential image file contains the data added or changed in an image file mounted as writable.
- In the event that a base image file (*.aiv) is mounted as writable, a differential image file is created to include changes made from the base image file as the starting point.
- In the event that an incremental image file (*.aii) is mounted as writable, a differential image file is created to include changes made from the incremental image file as the starting point. To use this differential image file, you need to have the image file set including the mounted incremental image file and the subsequent incremental image files in a series as well as the base image file. Please keep in mind that if the mounted incremental image file is lost as a result of consolidation of image files, you can no longer use the differential image file.
- If the differential image file is mounted as writable and then unmounted, the changes are included in the mounted differential image file. No new differential image file is created.
